Welcome to AVO Nutrition! I'm Caelin Folsom, a Registered Holistic Nutritionist and mother of three! 

Having working in the natural health and wellness industry for over a decade, nutrition has become a huge passion of mine. In 2017 I enrolled at The Canadian School of Natural Nutrition and began my journey to receive my designation as a Registered Holistic Nutritionist. I offer support through education on how to properly nourish your body with nutrient-rich whole foods and other lifestyle factors. I believe that holistic care is vital in optimizing overall health and wellness. I have experienced motherhood as well as infertility and recurrent pregnancy loss. My own journey has given me the purpose to provide guidance and support to other women during this incredibly vulnerable time.


My practice is based on using whole foods as preventative medicine and to restore natural balance. I specialize in families who are trying to conceive, and those who are going through infertility, miscarriage, pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond. This guide is for those who are actively trying to conceive, as well as those who are thinking about it. Preparing your body for pregnancy should ideally begin long before a positive pregnancy test. This guide will provide you with the things you can do to have the best chance possible of getting pregnant and bringing home a healthy baby. 


This guide is for those who are already pregnant. Whether you are in the first, second or third trimester. Figuring out what (and what not to) eat can be overwhelming and confusing. Take the guess work out and nourish your body as well as the tiny human you are growing. 


The Fourth Trimester. This season is vital to your physical recovery and emotional wellbeing. This guide is for women who need support with nutrient repletion, and postpartum healing. Also included is nutritional support for breastfeeding. 

This guide is for those who are starting to introduce baby's first solid foods! 

Includes knowing when to start, what foods to offer first, necessary nutrients, and which foods to delay. 

Picky eater? Constipation? This guide includes tips on navigating common digestive complaints in toddlers and children.
